What are Escape sequence in PHP ?<\/h2>\n

Escape sequences is the combination of the escape character \\’\\\\\\’<\/strong> and a letter, are used to signify that the character after the escape character should be treated specially. if you wanted to have the string in which \\”or \\’ or $ should be printed then , you would need escape characters because you have double quotes inside double quotes.And if we do not want to interpolate <\/a>our string then we have to use Escape sequences\u00a0Here is a list of the escape sequences in PHP<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  1. \\\\\\”<\/strong>– \u00a0Print the next character as a double quote.<\/li>\n
  2. \\\\\\’<\/strong>– \u00a0\u00a0Print the next character as a single quote.<\/li>\n
  3. \\\\n<\/strong>– Print a new line character (not always supported\u00a0)<\/li>\n
  4. \\\\t<\/strong>– \u00a0Print a tab character.<\/li>\n
  5. \\\\r<\/strong>– \u00a0Print a carriage return (not used very often).<\/li>\n
  6. \\\\$<\/strong>– Print the next character as a dollar.<\/li>\n
  7. \u00a0\\\\\\\\<\/strong>–\u00a0Print the next character as a backslash, not an escape character.<\/strong>Now if you want to print address of a file then you can write it like
    \n$MyFile<\/span> = \\”c:\\\\\\\\new\\\\\\\\folder1\\\\\\\\hello.txt<\/strong>\\”<\/span>;
